Denver wedding planner talks about the manly side of things for a bit...
We at Sweetly Paired - Denver wedding planners - have a love affair with a good boutonniere. We have showcased many styles of boutonnieres in this bout gallery! We have also showcased some of our favorite wedding photos from our past weddings as well! Check out how the succulent boutonnieres and the more rustic styles as well as the masculine calla lily bring out the more masculine style of the guys' looks! We used hops in a brewer's bout, pheasant feathers in a hunter's boutonniere. You can approach boutonnieres with the idea that you can make it personal for the guy! It doesn't just have to be a flower on a lapel! Thanks for reading!

Here's a little eye candy to inspire your fall wedding!
_This lovely bouquet by Bella Calla is a great example of fall wedding flowers. The lovely peach ranunculus and mango calla lily work perfectly together in this shot with locally grown crab apples, kangaroo paw, fresh greens, green trick dianthus, and berries to create a harvest look! Thanks to Laura Murray for the awesome images! The centerpiece that the guests enjoyed was overflowing with apples and pepper berry! Locally grown ingredients are awesome in the fall! This wedding inspiration was also published in Style Me Pretty in May!

devil's thumb ranch in tabernash colorado - near winter park - gorgeous mountin venue
We often work at some of Colorado's best venues! HERE is post about some of them. As a Colorado wedding planner, one of our faves is Devil's Thumb Ranch. It is a mountain wedding venue that is open year-round, and have some spectacular mountain views, along with an awesome rustic mountain lodge, fabulous catering, and great ceremony site options. These photos are from Jenna Rice Photography.

What do wedding planners do? Why do they cost so much?
Wedding planners are some of the hardest working people in the world! A wedding planner's wedding day starts at the moment the clients open their eyes, and finishes long after they leave the wedding! Our pedometers often read 15 or more miles, walking around the venue, moving from ceremony site to ready rooms, to reception site, back around again, making sure all of the people working to make the event go smoothly have all the info they need to be successful. But it doesn't start or end there! You should expect to spend $1500-2500 on a month-of coordinator, nation wide. For a full wedding planner, you can expect to spend TYPICALLY 10% of your budget... Usually $6000-10,000 plus, depending on your event and its needs!
Is it Scale-able?
An average wedding in Colorado is about $31,000, according to The Knot. Weddings that have a wedding planner are typically $40,000+. Sweetly Paired's average wedding for our full planning clients is about $60-70k. Our Day of clients range from about $30k, to 50k, typically. When the budget is higher than that, you need someone for more help than a day-of typically gives.

This awesome shoot was published in the spring in WED Magazine. It was shot by the fabulous photographer Carrie King. We loved doing the fabulous florals and styling for the shoot, and Event Rents did a great job with the linens and place settings! The awesome dessert table was a joint effort between Yours Truly Cupcake and Bella Calla! We often work at the awesome Denver Iconic Venue, the Seawell Ballroom, in downtown Denver.
