Proof that all your friends and family came TO CELEBRATE!
There are so many little details when it comes to wedding planning that by the end of it you may be making choices just to make the problem go away. But keep in mind that these little details really do make all the difference when everything comes together on the big day. You'll be so ahppy the you made mindful choices that really represent you and your loved one. One of those little (major) details is the guest book. The guest book is a key detail because everyone who attends the wedding will see it & (hopefully) sign it. Here are a few tips to picking out the perfect guest book.
1. Representation: This day is all about you and your loved one becoming ONE unit. So what is something that the two of you love to do? Do you love to travel together? Use a globe. Do you love to ski together? Use a set of skis. Do you love to drink wine together? Collect corks and have people sign them. There are so many possibilities, but keep in mind that it is best when it is about you. 2. Aesthetic: You can choose something based of the theme of your wedding. Is your wedding more black-tie? Stick to a classic alternative of a beautiful bound book that will shimmer in the night. Think about the rest of your decor and see how your guest book can compliment it. 3. Keepsake: Your guest book is a keepsake that you and your partner now get to keep forever til death do you part. Want to hear a great tip? Pick something you like! Pick something you treasure and want to keep displayed around your home, not just a memento that you are going to put in a box and forget about. A framed picture for people to sign is a great decor piece that you can add to any part of your home. 4. Find inspiration: Still struggling to find "the one" for your wedding. Turn to others for inspiration. Ask your friends and family members what they used when they got married, or take a peek at the guest book of any weddings you may attend in the near future. Inspiration may strike at any moment! And then there is always the internet which is packed with some of the most creative ideas known to man. So grab a cup of Joe and surf the web a bit looking at wedding blogs, Pinterest, and wedding inspiration pages. COLORADO WEDDING PLANNER. DENVER. Anna and Matt - Colorado wedding planner Sweetly paired - peach and white winter weddingAnna and Matt had a lovely winter wedding at Artwork Network in Denver. The pastel peach, blush and mint colors were a bright spot in the winter day. The cake was a lovely design by Azucar Bakery, and the photos are from Laura Murray. Flowers are from our favorite wedding florist, Bella Calla. We loved the choice of the cashmere pashminas for bridesmaids' gifts, and the blush tone worked beautifully with their mint bridesmaid dresses. Sweetly Paired is a Denver, Colorado based wedding planner that loves our mountain weddings in Vail, Aspen, and Beaver Creek as well as our urban Denver weddings!
This awesome shoot was published in the spring in WED Magazine. It was shot by the fabulous photographer Carrie King. We loved doing the fabulous florals and styling for the shoot, and Event Rents did a great job with the linens and place settings! The awesome dessert table was a joint effort between Yours Truly Cupcake and Bella Calla! We often work at the awesome Denver Iconic Venue, the Seawell Ballroom, in downtown Denver. katie and nathaniel AWESOME summer colorado wedding - deer creek valley ranchRustic flowers, fabulous deer-horned-bridge, awesome fall colors, and rich white and green wedding flowers. Deer Creek Valley Ranch is an awesome spot, and Megan Alvarez Photography was an awesome wedding photographer! Sweetly Paired loved planning this wedding with the awesome caterer, A Wild Thyme, and Bella Calla, the florist who made the lovely green and white rustic decor come together! Wedlock Officiants' Micah Sturr was the awesome Colorado wedding officiant. We helped make Katie and Nathaniel's wedding day run smoothly. As a Vail and Colorado wedding planner, it's our job to make sure all the vendors know what to do and when, and we're there from the moment she puts on her dress until the last wedding professional walks out the door. The clients and their family don't have to work that day. Their job that day is to enjoy the nuptials, not light candles, hang fabric, or make sure things are going well! If you're looking for a Denver, Boulder, or Vail wedding planner, look no further! Sweetly Paired can help!
Laurel and Drew are a fabulous, Colorado couple! They love to do things outdoors, such as their favorite.... rock climbing! They have tied many knots together while climbing, and when it came time to get married, they were one of our favorite couples to 'tie-the-knot'! They even used climbing ropes to tie a knot during the ceremony, as a symbolic gesture! The weather was perfect, and the reception was filled with friends, family, and love (and dancing all night, of course)! Check out these beautiful images from Elevate Photography, and The venue - the Highlands Ranch Mansion... SO pretty and stately! Bella Calla's team did a bang-up job on the wedding flowers. Sweetly Paired was the Colorado wedding planner.
