Nicole and Todd were wed at the beautiful Piney River Ranch in Vail, Colorado. As you can see in some of their photos, Nicole and Todd are fearless. They had so much fun when it came to taking their gorgeous bridal portraits by kicking of their shoes and playing around in the water. Thanks to Ali Brannan for pushing these two for some awesome shots. They had all of their family and friends surrounding them with love during the ceremony and the party went all night long at the reception! And can you believe how gorgeous those flowers are?! Bella Calla killed it with a light pastel palate that had everyone mesmerized. We had so much fun on this wedding planning journey with such an adventurous couple and cannot wait to make our way up to Vail again for many more beautiful weddings!

This lovely couple was a pleasure too work with as we helped to plan their destination wedding in Vail, Colorado. The photos are from the amazing Ali Brannan, of Ali and Garrett Photographers. The lovely bride changed after the ceremony into her Taiwanese dress, and the brave couple walked in the river to get these fantastic photos! Piney River Ranch is one of our favorite Colorado wedding venues, and these gorgeous wedding photos show why! Bella Calla created the beautiful wedding flowers, in peach and ivory to contrast with the lovely wood background of the lodge!
What do wedding planners do? Why do they cost so much?Wedding planners are some of the hardest working people in the world! A wedding planner's wedding day starts at the moment the clients open their eyes, and finishes long after they leave the wedding! Our pedometers often read 15 or more miles, walking around the venue, moving from ceremony site to ready rooms, to reception site, back around again, making sure all of the people working to make the event go smoothly have all the info they need to be successful. But it doesn't start or end there! You should expect to spend $1500-2500 on a month-of coordinator, nation wide. For a full wedding planner, you can expect to spend TYPICALLY 10% of your budget... Usually $6000-10,000 plus, depending on your event and its needs! Is it Scale-able? An average wedding in Colorado is about $31,000, according to The Knot. Weddings that have a wedding planner are typically $40,000+. Sweetly Paired's average wedding for our full planning clients is about $60-70k. Our Day of clients range from about $30k, to 50k, typically. When the budget is higher than that, you need someone for more help than a day-of typically gives.

This awesome shoot was published in the spring in WED Magazine. It was shot by the fabulous photographer Carrie King. We loved doing the fabulous florals and styling for the shoot, and Event Rents did a great job with the linens and place settings! The awesome dessert table was a joint effort between Yours Truly Cupcake and Bella Calla! We often work at the awesome Denver Iconic Venue, the Seawell Ballroom, in downtown Denver.
